SPEAKING IN CLOTH: 6 Quilters, 6 Voices, a visual conversation with six Northwest textile artists. This exhibition of recent works presents six unique vantage points exploring the languages of art making in the quilt medium. From hand dyed fabric to sheet metal, the conversation is about connections and layers — in the work and from person to person.

“We speak to be heard, to express a personal vision, to begin a conversation that engages and opens minds. We speak through the images, surfaces, colors, and stitches of our art.”

Exhibitors: Ann Johnson, Jeannette DeNicolis Meyer, Nancy Erickson,
Cynthia Corbin, Trisha Hassler, and Quinn Zander Corum.

A full color book illustrates this exhibition of art quilts. It widens the conversation as these artists express, in their own words, the relationship between what they think and what they create.
